About Us

The Thames Dog Training Club was founded in 1961 and provides a means for local people to meet and train their dogs in a friendly and fun environment. Based in the Maidenhead area, we have members from many different towns around the County of Berkshire

Our members vary in age range and span a wide range of professions. We have families, business people, men, women and children who enjoy the wide range of activities we provide, 

These include, Obedience, Flyball and Agility

Our two biggest club events throughout the year are:-

On the second weekend in June, Thames Dog Training Club now hold the biggest two day Championship Agility show in THE WORLD at the Newbury Showground in Berkshire. (just off junction 13 of the M4)

Obedience  (See photos of our 2007 show)

On the first week of September we hold the Thames Dog Training Championship Obedience show weekend together with the Association of German Shepherd Dogs (southern area) in Ockwells Park Maidenhead in Berkshire. (just off junction 8/9 of the M4)
